Terms of service

Last updated: August 21, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Thrive Crafted Vans website and shop, including the Shopify storefront (together, the “Site”), and any products or services you purchase or inquire about through the Site.

Thrive 1, LLC, doing business as Thrive Crafted Vans (“Thrivans,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates the shop. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Our Privacy Policy (already published on the shop) explains how personal information is handled. Our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy apply to shop orders and are part of these Terms.

1. Who we are and how to reach us

Thrive 1, LLC dba Thrive Crafted Vans
Email: lisa@thrivecraftedvans.com
1942 N. Main Street, Spanish Fork, UT

Utah General Contractor License #: 13375675-5501
ABYC Certified Electrical Technicians

The selling entity is Thrive 1, LLC, doing business as Thrive Crafted Vans. Receipts, invoices, or a written build agreement may also show this name.

2. What we sell and what we do not check out online

We do three kinds of work. These Terms treat them differently:

  1. Custom van builds — inquiry-based conversions. A $2,500 deposit, paid offline, holds a build date. All other pricing, deposits, and schedule terms are as confirmed in writing. Custom builds are not purchased through shop checkout.
  2. Shop products — a small catalog of digital plans/PDFs/spreadsheets and physical hardware (such as faceplates, spacers, and jumper wires) sold through the online shop.
  3. Drop-in systems — electrical and/or plumbing systems quoted by email. Price, contents, pickup, and any shipping are as confirmed in writing. These are not sold as a self-serve shop checkout item.

We do not publish package or conversion prices in these Terms. Any number you may have seen on an older page, listing, or quote that we have not confirmed in writing for your project does not apply.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to place an order or submit a build inquiry. You agree that information you provide (name, email, shipping address, payment details, van details) is accurate.

4. Orders, pricing, and payment

Prices for shop products are shown at checkout and may change at any time before you pay. Shipping, if any, is calculated at checkout. Taxes are added where required.

We may refuse, cancel, or limit an order (for example, suspected fraud, an ineligible shipping address, a pricing or inventory error, or a product we cannot fulfill). If we cancel a paid shop order, we will refund the amount you paid for the canceled items.

Payment is due at shop checkout for shop products. Custom-build and drop-in payments are due as confirmed in writing. We do not offer financing or payment plans through the shop.

5. Shop products

Digital products

Digital products are licensed, not sold as a transfer of copyright. After delivery or download, you may use the files for your own personal van project. You may not resell, republish, share, sublicense, or otherwise distribute the files, or use them to produce plans or kits for others, without our written permission.

Digital products are provided for informational and DIY planning use. They reflect methods and components we use in our own work; they are not a promise that the same sequence, dimensions, or parts list will fit every van, layout, or skill level. You are responsible for measuring your vehicle, choosing parts, and performing or hiring safe installation.

Delivery is electronic. See the Shipping Policy. Refunds are limited as described in the Refund Policy.

Physical hardware

Physical hardware is sold as described on the product page. Product photos and descriptions are meant to help you choose; we do not warrant that a part will fit every van, electrical layout, or third-party component. Confirm compatibility before you install.

We ship physical shop orders to U.S. addresses only. See the Shipping Policy.

6. Custom van builds

A custom build starts with an inquiry and a consultation. Submitting a form or having a call does not reserve a date and does not create a build contract.

To hold a date on our build calendar, a $2,500 deposit is required and is paid offline (not through shop checkout). After that, we provide a detailed quote and materials list for your approval. Further payments, change orders, timeline, drop-off, pickup, orientation, and warranty are as confirmed in writing.

If there is a conflict between these shop Terms and a signed or written build agreement, the written build agreement controls for that conversion.

Workmanship on a completed custom conversion is warranted for 12 months unless the written build agreement says otherwise. Components used in the build are covered by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, not by a separate Thrivans parts warranty, except as the written agreement states.

7. Drop-in systems

Drop-in electrical and plumbing systems are quoted individually. Do not rely on older website prices, package names, or leftover listings. Ask us for a current quote. Any crating, pickup, or U.S. shipment is as confirmed in writing.

8. DIY, installation, and safety

Shop plans and hardware are intended for people who understand the risks of vehicle modification, electrical work, plumbing, and structural fabrication — or who hire qualified help.

You agree that:

  • You are responsible for safe installation, local codes, and the condition of your vehicle.
  • Van electrical and plumbing work can create fire, shock, carbon monoxide, water-damage, and structural hazards if done incorrectly.
  • We are not liable for injury, property damage, failed inspections, or failed builds that result from your (or your contractor’s) use of our plans or hardware, except to the extent a manufacturer’s warranty or applicable law requires otherwise.

If you want us to design, build, or install a system, inquire about a custom build or a quoted drop-in system instead of relying only on shop files.

9. Intellectual property

The Site, our name and marks (including Thrive Crafted Vans and Thrivans), photos, drawings, plans, spreadsheets, and other content are owned by us or our licensors. Shop purchase of a digital file gives you the limited license in Section 5, not ownership of the copyright.

You may not copy, scrape, or reuse our content for a competing catalog, course, or plan set.

10. Acceptable use

You may not use the Site to break the law, interfere with the shop, submit malware, scrape the Site in an abusive way, or misrepresent who you are. We may suspend access if we believe these Terms have been violated.

11. Third-party services and links

The shop is powered by Shopify and may use other processors, carriers, and tools. Linked third-party sites and product brands are not under our control. Their terms and warranties apply to their products and sites.

12. Disclaimer

Except for the 12-month custom-build workmanship warranty described above, and except for any manufacturer warranty that accompanies a physical part, shop products and the Site are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent allowed by law. Some states do not allow certain disclaimers; those limits may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or failed DIY builds, arising from the Site or from shop products.

Our total liability for a shop order is limited to the amount you paid us for the product that gave rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it, and it does not replace a written custom-build agreement.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site, your installation or modification of a vehicle using our plans or hardware, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or willful misconduct.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Utah have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on the Site and changing the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Orders already placed are governed by the Terms in effect at checkout, unless a written agreement says otherwise.
